At American WeatherStar, we’re more than just a roof coating manufacturer—we’re a family. Our values extend beyond business, reaching deep into the heart of our community and supporting those in need. When one of us hurts, we all hurt; when one of us celebrates, we join in. This spirit was evident in a recent fundraising event in memory of Brandon Singleton, the brother of one of our long-time employees, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty 15 years ago.
Our colleague, who has been with us for 10 years, and her family has honored her brother’s memory through acts of service, turning grief into a powerful force for good. This year, on the 15th anniversary of his passing, we returned to where this tradition began: the Ronald McDonald House of Mobile. This initiative was a community effort, drawing support from word of mouth, flyers, social media, church families, and generous contributions from our American WeatherStar team, all of which played a crucial role in making this event a success.

In total, American WeatherStar employees raised $1,000 in donations, which the company proudly matched, bringing the total to $2,000. These funds were used to purchase much-needed items for the Ronald McDonald House, including coffee, snacks, linens, toiletries, and more. The overwhelming support and generosity of everyone involved had a profound impact, creating a ripple of positivity in a time often marked by sorrow. This is a testament to the power of our collective efforts and the positive change we can bring to our community.
While this time of year is undeniably challenging, the joy and community spirit that arise from these acts of kindness is a testament to Brandon’s enduring legacy. His memory inspires us to come together, support one another, and make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
At American WeatherStar, we back the blue and wholeheartedly support our community. Our unwavering commitment to philanthropy is a core part of who we are, and we are proud to honor Brandon’s memory in a way that brings hope and help to those who need it most. Through these efforts, we strive to embody the very best of what it means to be a family and a community, standing together in service and solidarity.
