New Contractor Designations

We have something new in the works for our contractors. You are already familiar with Approved and Platinum Contractors—now we are close to introducing the Platinum Elite status. The goal of the new Platinum Elite designation and Certified Applicator program is to improve the credibility of our contractors and applicators. We continue to look for new ways that help our contractors differentiate themselves from the competition.

PLATINUM ELITE BENEFITS INCLUDE:

  • Expedited warranties
  • Discounted warranty fees on projects over 100k sq. ft.
  • Preferred lead status for strategic accounts
  • Qualified status for our Contractor Rebate Programs
  • Automatic upgrade to purchase level/cabin type for the Starboard Elite Cruise

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently reached Platinum Contractor status
  • Min. 5 projects or 50,000 sq. ft. per year
  • At least one applicator being an American WeatherStar Certified Applicator
Platinum Elite Contractors will also be promoted as an elite group of experienced commercial roofing professionals that have taken the extra effort to have their installers certified by American WeatherStar. These installers would be officially known as Certified Applicators. This would be a two year certification.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CERTIFICATION INCLUDE:

  • Attending FAST Academy or a regional FAST course at least every two years
  • Installing a certain square footage of our systems every two years
  • Taking a PK test
As a reward for receiving the status, Certified Applicators would receive a dated certificate and wallet card plus some
swag with the Certified Applicator logo.

So now we want to propose a few questions to you:
  1. Are you interested in reaching Platinum Elite Contractor status?
  2. Do the benefits appeal to you?
  3. Do you see the benefit in having your crew become Certified Applicators?
  4. Do you think they would be willing to make the effort?

Additionally, we have also created new branding for our contractor designations and the Certified Applicator status:
