What is an American WeatherStar Dealer?
We at American WeatherStar feel it is important that you, as a consumer considering one of our systems for your roof, understand what an American WeatherStar Dealer is:
An American WeatherStar Dealer is an independent contracting business. In no way should a Dealer or a representative of the Dealer be construed as a direct representative or agent of American WeatherStar.
To become an American Weatherstar Dealer a contracting business is required to pass a basic credit application process, offer trade references, job references, and documents that show the company is licensed and insured.
In order for a building owner to receive any one of our warranties, a job must be installed by one of our Dealers. However, not every job can be covered by one of our warranty programs. There is an approval process the contractor must go through with each installation in order for American WeatherStar to issue any of our warranties. At times the variables involved with a particular installation can negate our ability to issue a warranty.
We recommend you verify documentation that your contractor currently has an active Dealership with American Weatherstar at the time of the project and ask him for a sample of the warranty he is offering on the system, before the job begins.
We do our very best to make sure we work with great contractors and more importantly, great people. We also firmly believe it is critical that you as a consumer investigate any roofing contractor you are considering to install any manufacturer's roofing system, even ours, before the job begins.
