American WeatherStar offers three main warranty options: Roof Coating Material, NDL System, and NDL System Elite. Each warranty level provides a different degree of protection, ranging from material defect coverage to full system coverage that includes labor and material.
The Roof Coating Material warranty covers material defects in American WeatherStar roof coating products. It is the most basic warranty option and does not cover workmanship errors or labor costs associated with correcting a problem.
The NDL System warranty covers leaks caused by both material defects and workmanship errors. It includes the cost of material and labor needed to correct covered problems, making it a stronger option than material-only coverage.
The NDL System Elite warranty provides the highest level of protection, covering leaks caused by material defects and workmanship errors. It includes labor and material for covered repairs and requires annual inspections and documented maintenance.
NDL stands for “No Dollar Limit.” This means covered repairs are not capped by a specific dollar amount, as long as the issue falls within the terms, conditions, and limitations of the warranty.
Labor costs are not covered under the Roof Coating Material warranty. Labor is included under both the NDL System and NDL System Elite warranties for covered problems.
Annual inspections are not required for the Roof Coating Material or standard NDL System warranty, though they are recommended. The NDL System Elite warranty requires annual inspections and documented maintenance to keep coverage in place.
