A roof coating adhesion test is a critical part of the roof restoration process. It’s a tried-and-true method of ensuring whether or not a roof coating system will properly adhere to an existing roof substrate.
In this Tech Talk video, Eric Long, Technical Services Director here at American WeatherStar, shows us how to properly perform a roof coating adhesion test patch. The roof coating products tested in this video are Acrylic 211 and Silicone 410, which are both widely used in our various metal and flat roof restoration systems.
We also provide Adhesion Test Patch Instructions as a document.
