Aromatic Urethane 508 is a high-solids, single-component, moisture-cure polyurethane base coat formulated for commercial roof restoration applications. Designed for use over EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and BUR surfaces, this elastomeric coating cures to form a seamless, flexible, and weather-resistant membrane that resists lateral movement, shear stress, and thermal cycling. Aromatic Urethane 508 must be top coated with an approved American WeatherStar finish coat such as Silicone 410, High Solids Silicone 412, or Aliphatic Urethane 510.

Aromatic Urethane 508 was specifically developed as the protective base coat for American WeatherStar’s Ure-A-Sil™ System. It may also be utilized as a base coat beneath Aliphatic Urethane 510 in systems such as Ure-A-Max and Max-Ply Urethane Systems.
