Existing Roof Substrate
Designed for use over metal roof substrates.
Surface Preparation
To ensure proper adhesion, pressure-wash the existing roof surface and treat it with EcoCleaner 925 to remove dirt, dust, and debris.
Rust Primer (Optional)
For metal roofs with light to moderate rust, apply Red Oxide Rust Prime 912 to inhibit corrosion and improve adhesion.
Waterproofing
Seal all details of the existing roof system (fasteners, seams, penetrations, etc.) with Silicone Brush-Grade 422 or Urethane Brush-Grade 522. These durable, flexible waterproofing mastics accommodate the natural expansion and contraction (thermal cycling) of the roof structure.
Silicone Coating
Apply a base and top coat of High-Solids Silicone 412, creating a seamless, flexible membrane with superior adhesion, UV stability, reflectivity, and weather resistance.
