Existing Roof Substrate
Suitable for use over modified bitumen, smooth BUR, EPDM, TPO, PVC, structural concrete, and spray polyurethane foam roof substrates.
Surface Preparation
To ensure proper adhesion, pressure-wash the existing roof surface and treat it with EcoCleaner 925 to remove dirt, dust, and residue.
Bonding Primer
For asphaltic or previously coated roofs, apply Acrylic Bonding Primer 905 to promote proper adhesion.
Waterproofing
Seal all details of the existing roof system (seams, penetrations, drains, etc.) with Terminator 622. This durable yet flexible waterproofing sealant accommodates the natural expansion and contraction (thermal cycling) of the roof structure.
Silicone Coating
Apply High-Solids Silicone 412 as both the base coat and top coat. This low-VOC, high-solids formulation creates a flexible, rubber-like membrane with excellent adhesion, durability, and UV protection. The completed system forms a seamless, highly reflective surface with outstanding weatherability and resistance to ponding water.
