Existing Roof Substrate
Designed for use over metal roof substrates.
Surface Preparation
To ensure proper adhesion, pressure-wash the existing roof surface and treat it with EcoCleaner 925 to remove dirt, dust, and debris.
Rust Primer (Optional)
For metal roofs with light to moderate rust, apply Red Oxide Rust Prime 912 to inhibit corrosion and improve adhesion.
Waterproofing
Seal all details of the existing roof system (fasteners, seams, penetrations, etc.) with Acrylic Brush-Grade 220 or Acrylic Butter-Grade 221. These durable, flexible waterproofing mastics accommodate the natural expansion and contraction (thermal cycling) of the roof structure.
Acrylic Coating
Apply multiple coats of Acrylic 211, creating a seamless, flexible membrane with superior durability, reflectivity, weather resistance, and mildew resistance.
